Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to awwditions.com and any related website, application, product, class, event, marketplace, or service operated by AWWDITIONS, INC. By creating an account, buying submission credits, a production pass, or a guaranteed placement, posting a casting call, submitting materials, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

AWWDITIONS, INC is a California corporation with a business address at 1533 26th Street, Santa Monica, California 90404. In these Terms, AWWDITIONS, we, us, and our refer to AWWDITIONS, INC. You and user refer to each person or organization accessing the service.

AWWDITIONS is a talent listing and career platform. It is not a talent agency, employment agency, casting company for every listing, labor union, producer, employer, manager, or representative of any user unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.

AWWDITIONS uses awwdition as its own word for an audition: a performer's recorded or in-person reading, performance, or other submission made for consideration for a role. Wherever these Terms say awwdition, awwditions, or awwditioning, the word carries the ordinary meaning of audition, auditions, or auditioning. AWWDITIONS, Awwditions, and awwdition are trademarks of AWWDITIONS, INC.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract. The service is not offered to minors at launch. If you use the service for a company, production, agency, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for activity under your account. Accounts are personal to the registered user unless AWWDITIONS provides an approved organization or team account. Do not share credentials or allow unauthorized access.

Notify info@awwditions.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, impersonation, or misuse. We may require identity or authority verification before changing account details, disclosing account information, or restoring access.

Performers may create profiles, build electronic press kits, browse verified listings, submit materials, receive decisions or feedback, take classes, purchase optional services, and use other tools made available to their account.

Casting professionals and authorized production representatives may create accounts, submit listings for review, receive submissions, communicate decisions, and use talent search or project management tools. AWWDITIONS may require credential, identity, production, payment source, or authority verification before approving a casting account or listing.

AWWDITIONS provides technology, moderation, education, information, and related services. We may review listings and credentials, but verification reduces risk rather than eliminating it. Users remain responsible for their own decisions, communications, contracts, travel, safety, tax obligations, union obligations, and professional advice.

AWWDITIONS does not guarantee an awwdition, response, callback, booking, representation, employment, compensation, credit, career result, audience growth, or business outcome, except for the placement obligation described in Section 6 for a purchased guaranteed placement. A listing is not an endorsement, and a verification badge is not a guarantee of conduct or payment.

Creating an account is free. A free account includes a public profile and electronic press kit, the ability to browse every verified listing together with its full breakdown, direct messaging with other members, and the written preparation material published on the site, including the Awwdition Prep Quick Sheet, the Cover Guide, and the guides on the Learn the Craft page.

Submitting to a casting call is a paid action. A submission is covered in one of two ways.

  • A submission credit, currently $1, spent one credit per submission on any open role. Credits are sold in packs of 1, 5, 10, and 25 at the same price per credit, and they do not expire.
  • A production pass, currently $10, which covers every open role on a single production for 365 days from purchase, including roles added to that production later. While the pass is live, submissions to that production spend no credits, and the account may request director critique on its tapes and enroll in any class at no additional charge.

AWWDITIONS also offers a guaranteed placement, currently $100. It is a credit on your account rather than a claim on a particular role. You must have submitted to at least one role before buying one, only one may be outstanding on an account at a time, and AWWDITIONS fills it by placing you in a production. The placement may be a different production and a different role than any you submitted to. The credit stays on your account until it is filled or refunded.

Payment never changes how a submission is ranked, ordered, or presented to a casting professional, and it never buys consideration or selection by a casting professional. Casting professionals are not shown whether a performer holds or has bought a guaranteed placement.

AWWDITIONS does not charge a performer a fee for the right to be represented, for registration with an agency, or for a photograph, lesson, coaching session, or other service as a condition of being considered for a specific role by a casting professional. A casting professional may not charge a performer anything. See Section 7.

A person posting or managing a casting call represents that the listing is genuine, that they are authorized to recruit for the stated project, and that every material fact is accurate. Listings must identify the production entity, role, project type, location, dates, compensation or unpaid status, union status when applicable, submission requirements, deadline, and responsible contact.

Casting users must comply with applicable employment, labor, anti discrimination, wage, safety, union, licensing, tax, and privacy laws. Role requirements involving protected characteristics must be lawful and genuinely relevant to the role or production. AWWDITIONS may request supporting records and may reject, pause, edit for clarity, or remove a listing.

Casting users may not require performers to pay them or a named third party for access to a role, representation, mandatory training, photographs, registration, processing, equipment, travel arrangements, or another condition of consideration. They may not request bank credentials, tax information, or identity documents before a legitimate need arises and secure handling is available.

Users must use reasonable care before meeting, traveling, sharing sensitive information, or entering a professional agreement. Report suspicious conduct through info@awwditions.com and contact emergency services when immediate safety is at risk.

Unless clearly permitted by law and governed by separate written safeguards approved by the production, AWWDITIONS listings may not require nudity or sexual activity during an awwdition. Awwditions may not be held in a private residence or hotel room unless AWWDITIONS expressly approves the arrangement after review. A performer may request a support person where lawful and operationally reasonable.

AWWDITIONS may provide safety rules, but it does not control off platform conduct, workplaces, sets, venues, travel, or third party communications. Production companies and users remain responsible for safe and lawful practices.

Every purchase on AWWDITIONS is a one time payment. There is no membership, no subscription, and no automatic renewal. Nothing you buy charges your payment method again, and AWWDITIONS does not store a payment method to charge later.

Prices are stated in United States dollars unless checkout says otherwise. Taxes may be added where required. Stripe processes payments through hosted Checkout and handles payment credentials under its own terms and privacy notice. AWWDITIONS receives transaction, status, and limited billing information needed to manage the account and prevent fraud. The price shown at checkout controls if it differs from a price stated elsewhere.

We may change prices or the features included with a purchase. A change takes effect for purchases made after the change and never alters something you have already bought: credits you hold stay valid, a live production pass runs its full 365 days on the terms in effect when you bought it, and an outstanding guaranteed placement remains ours to fill.

There is no recurring charge to cancel. A production pass ends on its own 365 days after purchase and is not renewed or rebilled. Submission credits do not expire and are used only when you submit. A guaranteed placement stays on your account until AWWDITIONS fills it or refunds it.

You may close your account at any time by emailing info@awwditions.com from the address on the account. Closing an account does not refund a completed purchase, and it ends access to anything unused. If you hold an outstanding guaranteed placement, tell us in that email whether you want it filled before closure or refunded.

Completed purchases are nonrefundable except where required by law or where AWWDITIONS confirms a duplicate charge, a billing error, or a failure to deliver a service you specifically purchased. A credit already spent on a submission is not refundable, and a submission is not withdrawn by a refund request.

If AWWDITIONS cannot fill a guaranteed placement, we will refund it. A refunded guaranteed placement is removed from the account.

Refund terms displayed for a class, critique, or other separate purchase apply to that purchase. If a specific refund term conflicts with this section, the more specific disclosed term controls to the extent permitted by law.

AWWDITIONS may offer critiques, classes, masterclasses, events, electronic press kit services, partner services, and professional credentials. Additional terms shown at purchase or registration become part of these Terms.

Director critique and enrollment in classes are included with a live production pass at no additional charge and are not sold separately. Critiques and educational content reflect professional judgment and are not promises of future results.

An AWWDITIONS credential, including Awwdition Certified, indicates completion of the stated requirements. It is not an academic degree, government license, union status, agency representation, or guarantee of employment. We may suspend or revoke a credential obtained through fraud or serious rule violations.

Your content includes profile information, resumes, headshots, reels, self tapes, audio, scripts or excerpts you are authorized to use, electronic press kits, casting listings, messages, comments, reviews, and other material you submit. You retain ownership of your content.

You grant AWWDITIONS a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to host, store, reproduce, transcode, format, display, transmit, and distribute your content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service according to your settings and instructions. Public profile or electronic press kit content may be displayed publicly. Private awwdition materials may be displayed only to authorized recipients and personnel as described below.

The license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except that limited copies may remain in backups, legal records, fraud prevention records, or materials already shared at your direction. AWWDITIONS will not use a private awwdition tape, critique, or private message in advertising without separate permission.

You represent that you own your content or have all permissions needed to upload and use it through the service. Do not upload confidential production materials, music, scripts, images, likenesses, or other content unless your use is authorized.

Private awwdition tapes, application materials, and critiques are available only to the submitting user, authorized AWWDITIONS personnel who need access to operate or protect the service, and the authorized reviewer, casting professional, or production recipient for that submission. A recipient may use the material only to evaluate the stated opportunity and for related legitimate production records.

No recipient may publish, sell, train an artificial intelligence model on, reuse for an unrelated project, or disclose private awwdition material without the performer's permission or another lawful basis. These restrictions do not prevent legally required disclosures or internal records reasonably needed to document a casting decision.

Public profiles and electronic press kits are visible according to the user's privacy and publishing settings. A public page may be indexed by search engines, copied by visitors, or remain in third party caches after deletion. Review each page before publishing and do not include information you do not want made public.

AWWDITIONS does not currently operate a marketplace or storefront and does not currently sell a partner's service. The service may link to or reference third party websites, productions, photographers, coaches, readers, studios, vendors, or payment services. Unless AWWDITIONS is identified as the seller, the third party is responsible for its service, representations, schedule, safety, taxes, refunds, and legal compliance. Separate third party terms may apply.

If AWWDITIONS later offers a partner service and receives a referral fee, commission, or other compensation, that compensation will be disclosed where the service is offered. We do not guarantee a partner's work. Users should review credentials, pricing, scope, and cancellation terms before purchasing.

You may not use the service to do any of the following.

  • Break a law, regulation, union rule, court order, or contractual duty
  • Post a fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, exploitative, unsafe, or unauthorized casting call
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, exploit, discriminate against, or invade the privacy of another person
  • Request sexual activity, nudity, money, financial credentials, or identity documents through a deceptive or unsafe process
  • Upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights
  • Share, sell, publish, or repurpose private awwdition materials or private contact information without authorization
  • Scrape, harvest, download in bulk, build a competing database from, or use automated means to access the service without written permission
  • Circumvent access controls, probe security, introduce malicious code, overload the service, or interfere with another user
  • Manipulate rankings, reviews, decisions, credentials, or engagement data
  • Use the service to train or improve an artificial intelligence or machine learning model without written permission
  • Create multiple accounts to evade enforcement or assist another person in violating these Terms

The service, software, design, trademarks, logos, original curriculum, databases, verification methods, and AWWDITIONS content are owned by AWWDITIONS or its licensors and are protected by law. Subject to these Terms, AWWDITIONS grants you a limited, revocable, nontransferable license to use the service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.

AWWDITIONS respects copyright and may remove or disable material that is alleged to infringe. A copyright owner or authorized agent may send a written notice to Copyright Agent, AWWDITIONS, INC, 1533 26th Street, Santa Monica, California 90404, or info@awwditions.com. The notice should identify the copyrighted work, the challenged material and its location, the sender's contact information, a good faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement made under penalty of perjury, and a physical or electronic signature.

A user whose material is removed may submit a legally sufficient counter notice. AWWDITIONS may restore material as permitted by law unless the complaining party reports a filed court action. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

If you voluntarily send product ideas or feedback, you grant AWWDITIONS a perpetual, worldwide, royalty free right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation. This section does not transfer ownership of your awwdition materials, creative works, or confidential information submitted through an expressly confidential process.

You agree to receive agreements, receipts, security messages, account notices, and other transactional communications electronically. You may opt out of marketing email without losing necessary account communications. Keep your email address current.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe an account, listing, payment, or activity violates these Terms, creates legal or safety risk, threatens the service, or harms another person. Where reasonable and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to respond.

If AWWDITIONS ends an account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of a live production pass, any unspent submission credits, and any outstanding guaranteed placement. No refund is required when access is ended for a material violation, fraud, charge reversal, or unlawful conduct, except where law requires otherwise.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE. AWWDITIONS DISCLAIMS EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR FREE, OR ACCURATE, OR THAT ANY LISTING, USER, REVIEW, PARTNER, OR OPPORTUNITY WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow particular disclaimers. Those disclaimers apply only to the extent permitted by law.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AWWDITIONS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, LOST DATA, REPUTATIONAL HARM, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM THE SERVICE.

AWWDITIONS' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID AWWDITIONS IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR $100. THIS LIMIT DOES NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED.

AWWDITIONS is not responsible for the conduct of users or third parties, or for contracts, travel, awwditions, workplaces, productions, payments, or disputes occurring outside its direct control.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AWWDITIONS and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from third party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your content, listings, conduct, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person's rights. This duty does not apply to the extent a claim results from AWWDITIONS' own unlawful conduct.

Before filing a lawsuit, the complaining party must send a written description of the dispute and requested resolution to info@awwditions.com. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the matter informally for 30 days.

If the matter remains unresolved, the parties will attempt nonbinding mediation in Los Angeles County, California, before filing a lawsuit, unless emergency injunctive relief, a limitations deadline, a small claims matter, or a government report makes prior mediation impractical. The parties will share the mediator's fees equally unless they agree otherwise or applicable law requires a different allocation.

These Terms are governed by California law without regard to conflict of law rules. Any court proceeding must be brought in a state court with jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California, or the United States District Court for the Central District of California. The parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts. The Santa Monica Courthouse is the preferred state court location when the court's assignment rules and jurisdiction permit.

Nothing in this section prevents a user from bringing an eligible claim in small claims court or reporting a concern to a government agency. These Terms do not require arbitration.

We may modify the service and these Terms. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. For a material change affecting prices, purchases, dispute rights, or use of personal information, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email, account notice, or another legally sufficient method. A change to these Terms does not alter a purchase you already completed. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any purchase or feature specific terms form the agreement between you and AWWDITIONS. If a specific term conflicts with these Terms, the specific term controls for that feature or purchase. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as necessary, and the remaining provisions remain effective. A delay in enforcement is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights without written consent. AWWDITIONS may assign this agreement in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, except for payment obligations already due.
