Awwditions Website FAQ
01
Where do the projects go once they're made?
Where will the movies, commercials, and projects I'm auditioning/paying for actually show up in the real world?
Every project booked through Awwditions is a real, in-production title tied to The Movie Version / G.O.O.D Music Universe slate — not a placeholder listing. Depending on the project, finished work is released through:
- Film & TV distribution — Netflix, Hulu, Tubi, and other streaming and broadcast outlets
- Music distribution — SoundCloud, Deezer, Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music
- Social & digital distribution — YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram
- Live & experiential — tours, screenings, and public events (e.g., the Green Carpet Tour)
- Other public and private networks — including festival circuits, brand/commercial placements, and international partners around the world
We'll always tell you which release path a specific project is targeting before you submit.
02
What am I paying for?
What does my membership/submission fee actually cover?
Your fee covers access to verified, human-reviewed casting calls, unlimited submissions during your membership period, guaranteed feedback on every submission (booked, callback, or pass), and a dashboard to track and manage your bookings. It does not buy you a role — casting decisions are based on fit for the project, never on how much you've paid (“no pay-to-rank”).
03
How do I know this is legitimate and not a scam?
How can I trust that a casting call is real?
Every listing on Awwditions goes through human review before it's posted. Awwditions is a talent listing service, not a talent agency, and doesn't take a cut of your earnings from a booking. If a call looks off, or someone asks you to pay them personally outside the platform, report it immediately.
04
What kinds of projects can I audition for?
What types of roles are available?
Casting calls span the full slate produced under The Movie Version / G.O.O.D Music Universe: film, TV, commercials, music videos and soundtrack features, podcasts, live events, and other narrative or brand projects. You can filter calls by craft, union status, and city.
05
How does submitting work?
What happens after I submit a tape?
Submissions follow three steps: Submit (browse filtered calls and upload your tape), Get Answered (every submission receives a decision — booked, callback, or pass — with optional notes), and Get Booked (booking details land in your dashboard).
06
How long does it take to hear back?
When will I know if I got the part?
Response times vary by project, but every submission is guaranteed a decision — you won't be left wondering. Check your dashboard for status updates and notes from casting.
07
Do I need to be a union member?
Can non-union performers apply?
Yes. You can filter and browse calls by union status, and both union and non-union opportunities are listed.
08
What rights am I giving up if I'm booked?
If I book a role, who owns the footage/recording?
Rights and usage terms are specific to each project and are spelled out in the booking agreement before you commit — read the terms for that project's contract before accepting a role.
09
Can I cancel my membership or get a refund?
What's the refund/cancellation policy?
(Fill in: cancellation window, refund eligibility, how to cancel.)
10
How is Awwditions different from a talent agency?
Do you get a percentage of what I earn?
No. Awwditions is a talent listing service, not an agency — we don't take commission on your bookings. You pay one membership price for access to listings, not a cut of your pay.
11
Who is behind The Movie Version?
Who's actually producing these projects?
The Movie Version is the production arm behind the G.O.O.D Music Universe slate, led by producer Malik Yusef — spanning film, documentary, memoir, theater, podcast, music, and live experiences under one connected universe.
